Welcome to Care for the Kids

Care for the Kids is a parenting resource site run by Kerry Stutzman, a licensed marriage and family therapist, and her son Palmer Skudneski, a marriage and family therapist candidate. They share personal stories, practical advice, and workshops focused on strengthening parent-teen relationships, especially through challenges like divorce, mental health, and communication breakdowns. Kerry and Palmer each run exceptionally successful private practices. Kerry has been teaching parenting classes for over twenty years and has spoken in front of thousands of parents.
